Bio

Peter is a corporate executive with 30+ years’ broad leadership experience ranging from working at small, venture-backed start-up companies to publicly traded billion-dollar multi-national complex organizations.  He has a strong technical background in the medical device and clinical trials service industries and extensive experience leading large scientific teams.

 

Accomplishments include scaling a global clinical trials services company from start-up to profitability, raising venture and PE capital, executing M&A strategies, developing and securing regulatory approval of medical devices, creating and growing a global scientific services delivery team, and leading academic research in one of the country’s premier medical schools.

- Involved in musculoskeletal diseases at all stages of clinical development.
- Participated in early clinical and epidemiological work in osteoporosis, leading to the approval of the first universally accepted treatment for osteoporosis in 1995.
- Supported imaging and biochemical biomarker development in musculoskeletal diseases, including osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.
- Advanced expertise in managing imaging outcomes in clinical trials for other therapeutic areas, such as oncology, pulmonology, GI, and ophthalmology.
